Shah created out of a need to allow small businesses to send text messages to customers about sales, coupons, and offers. In 2005, worked with singer John Legend"s Show Maine Campaign to help raise awareness for education. Shah co-founded in 2006 with people he met in college.
Shah was responsible for the Technology of the company and built the platform to support sending emails to hundreds of millions of music fans.
Shah co-founded and was Chief Technology Officer of the mobile social cityguide, in 2007. In 2010, pivoted to the platform "LocalResponse," to help brands reach consumers across aggregate location-based services.
Shah is an outspoken advocate of non-violence and has been involved with the Temple of Understanding, a 501c3 United Nations non-governmental organization organization, in promoting inter-faith discussion and dialogue. Shah has spoken at the United Nations and organized youth events on the topic of non-violence and humanity.
