Burns, Denise Ruth was born on October 17, 1943 in Bellville, New Jersey, United States. Daughter of A. Richard and Ruth Jean (Landers) Culkin.


Studied, Sergei Bongart School Art, 1971-1973;studied with Dan McCaw, Scottsdale School Art, 1980, 89;studied with, Scottsdale School Art, 1988;studied with, Harley Brown, 1994;studied with, Michael Lynch and, Ovanes Berberian, 1995.
