Micaela Eleutheriade attended a local school and then gymnasium in Bucharest. Between 1918 and 1924 she studied at the School of Fine Arts (the present-day Bucharest National University of Arts) under the guidance of the greatest professors and artists of that time, including Cecilia Cuţescu-Storck, Dimitrie Mirea and Ipolit Strâmbu.
In 1926 Eleutheriade debuted at the Salon des Independants in Paris and at the Spring Salon in Bucharest. The 1936 saw the opening of her personal painting exhibition at the Dalles Hall. She participated in several group exhibits at the House of Art Gallery during 1942. Micaela Eleutheriade organized a retrospective at the Exhibition Pavilions in Herastrau Park in 1959. In the year 1965, Eleutheriade took part in the annual graphics exhibition in the Simu Hall, Bucharest.
In her paintings, she preferred to depict still lifes, landscapes, as well as everyday scenes. Her artworks were characterized by elegance and simplicity.
