He worked in various design organizations of Kursk (until 1928) and Voronezh (1928-1946). Teacher of architecture at the Voronezh Engineering and Construction Institute. Before the Great Patriotic War, he was the chief architect of Voronezh.
Achievements

The author of the projects of the buildings of the State Bank (1931-1932, Teatralnaya Street, 36), the residential building in Komissarzhevskaya Street, the railway polyclinic (1929, the Revolution Avenue, 2), the apartment house (the beginning of the 1930s, Volodarsky Street, 70).
According to the Degtyarev project, the building of the State Bank was restored after the Great Patriotic War. In 1944 he fulfilled the project of building the building of the regional committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) (not implemented).
