Dmitry Alexandrovich Gorbov

Background

Dmitry Alexandrovich Gorbov was born on September 19, 1894 from the merchant family.

Career

During the Civil War he lived in the town of Ostrogozhsk, Voronezh province, worked at the school, was the editor of local Izvestia, head of the school sub-department of the district education department, and held other positions. In 1922 he returned to Moscow, worked in publishing houses, published articles and literary reviews in the journal Krasnaya Nov, New World, The Seal and Revolution, and responded to many notable phenomena in contemporary Russian, including foreign literature.
