In 1864 Dmitry Dmitrievich was a scribe, in 1847 was a clerk under the Valuysky district leader of the nobility. An indispensable judge of the county zemstvo court (since 1850).
In the mid-1860s, Dmitry Dmitrievich was an intermediary for land demarcation in the county. Member of the Valuysk district county council (1868-1883). Member of the provincial zemstvo council, member of the provincial school council, member of the guardianship of the established real school (since March 1876).
Dmitry Dmitrievich was published (especially actively in the 1870s) in the journal Historical Herald, Russian Archive, Russian Antiquity, Herald of Europe, and occasionally in the newspaper Voronezh Telegraph.
