Resnick, Don was born on May 19, 1928 in New York City. Son of Reuben David and Helen Ella (Edelson) Resnick.


Bachelor, Hobart College, 1949. Bachelor of Science magna cum laude, State University of New York, Brockport, 1951. Postgraduate, New School for Social Research.

Postgraduate, International Academy Visual Art, Salzburg, Austria. Studies with Oskar Kokoschka, Raphael Soyer, Seymour Lipton.
