Construction engineer, port works of Montevideo, 1905-1911. Professor of ports and lighthouse construction in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Montevideo, 1908-1926. Dean of the same faculty, 1920-1926.
Consulting engineer on the construction of the ports of Nueva Palmira, Colonia, Fray Bentos, and Paysandú, and of the railway from Treinta y Tres to Rio Branco.
Member: Asociación de Ingenieros del Uruguay (ex-president), Federación Uruguaya de Educación Vial (director, 1928-1933), Rotary (ex-governor of district 63, which includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay). Aimrd: gold medal for monograph La Ingeniería en Sud América, presented at fiftieth anniversary of American Association of Mechanical Engineers.
