Career
LaRossa was born in New Jersey in 1941. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hall University in 1963 and his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1967. LaRossa began his career at Penn in 1976 when he was appointed assistant professor of surgery.
Before Penn, LaRossa served in the United States. Army and was also an instructor at the University of Colorado.
