McFarland, Donna Reyne was born on October 24, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia, United States. Daughter of Clyde Freeman and Ruby June (Summerfield) Armstrong.


Bachelor in Art cum laude, West Virginia State College, 1985. Postgraduate, Marshall University, since 1986.


Art director Calvary Baptist Academy, Hurricane, West Virginia, 1980—1984. Art judge State Accelerated Christian Education High School Competition, Jacksons Mill, since 1981, judge, International Competition, 1987.
