Doris Landau Fine

Background

Doris Fine was born on March 22, 1949 in Heidenheim, Germany, in the family of Jonas and Wanda Landau.

Education

Doris got B.S. at Boston University in 1971 and M.S. in 1976.

Career

Doris worked as a physical therapist and staff trainer at Kids Are People Elementary School, physical therapist at Columbia Point Health Center, assistant director of physical therapy at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center and physical therapist at Waltham Public Schools.

Doris also served as a staff member at Kinderschool of United Cerebral Palsy, adjunct faculty member at University of Massachusetts, instructor at Wheelock College and lecturer in physical therapy at Northeastern University.

Achievements

• Together with K. Blenk she wrote a book Making School Inclusion Work: A Guide to Everyday Practices.
