Mitchell & Mitchell, P.C. was founded in 1924 as Mitchell & Mitchell by brothers John C. Mitchell and D. Wright Mitchell, Sr.
Originating as a small law office in the middle of Dalton, then a small mill town, the firm - like the city - has grown and expanded but retained its original mission of serving as a dynamic general practice organization committed to the vigorous representation of its clients. The firm now serves the carpet industry with its practice serving the entire State of Georgia and in the recent past requiring the delivery of legal services in more than 25 states, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and several foreign countries.
