Career
Commissioned by the Peruvian government (ad honorem) to study the hospitals of Europe and the United States, 1902-1904. Peruvian delegate to the International Medical Congress of Madrid, 1904. Member of the South American Medical Congresses of Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Havana, 1917, 1918, and 1928.
Representative of the Faculty of Medicine in Arequipa.
President of the Departmental Commission of Pharmacy of Arequipa. Formerly member of the Municipal Council of Arequipa.
Delegate of the University of Arequipa to the Latin American Medical Congress of Lima. At one time professor in the Faculty of Medicine of Lima.
