Eduard Ivanovich Astashev

Background

Eduard Astashev was born on September 25, 1932, in Georgievsk, Stavropol, Russian Federation.

Education

He graduated from the Krasnodar Art College (1956, head V.V. Tevtoradze).

Career

The main artist of Voronezh (1967-1968). Participated in the zonal exhibitions "Krai Chernozemnyi".Since 1983 he lives in Moscow, he works in the field of temple art. He performed a number of paintings in the Voronezh Assumption Church on Monastyrschenka (1989-1994), Pokrovsky Cathedral, Ioanno-Predtechensky Church, the House Church, the Metropolitan Chambers (1994-1998).

Achievements

• Member of republican, all-Union, international exhibitions since 1960.Participated in the zonal exhibitions "Krai Chernozemnyi".In 1966 in Voronezh,took place a personal exhibition of works by Astashev. Presented at the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramsk, Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts, Orel Picture Gallery.
