Career
He appeared in 81 films between 1928 and 1937. He subsequently had a second acting career on Broadway. Brooklyn United States of America (1941), the comedy Junior Mission (1942), and See My Lawyer (1939) were some of his best roles.
His next career was as a television producer, writer and director for American Broadcasting Company.
As a child, he sang with the Metropolitan Opera. He was born In New York, New York and died in San Antonio, Texas.
