Teacher of mechanic engineering, 1886-1892, professor steam engineering, since 1892, Massachusetts Institute Technology, also in charge department mechanic engineering, since 1911. Dean of army officers, Massachusetts Institute Technology, since 1922. Colonel Auxiliary Reserve.
