Ordained to ministry, Church of Scotland. 1907; pastor Cockenzie, 1907-1911, Elgin, 1911-1920, Hillhead Church, Glasgow, 1920-1926, Warrender Church, Edinburgh, 1926-1951. Moderator General Assembly Church of Scotland, 1944-1945.
