Edwin Bradley was born on February 26, 1958 in Chardon, Ohio, United States. He is the son of James F. Bradley and Linda (McKinley) Bradley.
Edwin attended Western Michigan University during the period from 1976 to 1978. He continued his studies and in 1981 attained Bachelor of Arts degree with honors, graduating from Michigan State University.
In 1986 Bradley enrolled in Old Dominion University, where he stayed just for one year.
Edwin started his career as a sportswriter in 1981 at Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, a position he held until 1983, when he was appointed an assistant sports editor at The Meridian Star. Edwin held this position within one year.
In 1984 Bradley started to serve as a copy editor at Virginian-Pilot & Ledger-Star in Norfolk, and stayed there until 1987. The same year, in 1987, he was appointed a copy editor at Flint Journal, a position Edwin held within a one-year period.
During the period from 1988 to 1989 Edwin Bradley worked as an assistant editorials editor.
In 2007 Edwin started to work as a communication and visual art lecturer at University of Michigan-Flint, a position he held to 2014.
Since 2009 Bradley has been working as an English Instructor at different educational institutions. Also, in 2007 Edwin was appointed an associate curator of film at Flint Institute of Arts, a post he still holds.
In 2012 he was appointed a copy editor at Crain Communications Inc., and served there until 2017.
Edwin married Katherine E. Jones on June 17, 1989. They have two children — Andrew E. and James L.
