Amalie Koehlert was his mother. On the twenty-fourth of December, 1913 Ejnar arrived in China. Most of his life he lived and worked in Shanghai.

In 1906 he got education at Roskilde Kathedralskole (Bachelor of Arts). In 1911-1912 Ejnar studied at Copenhagen, University (Bachelor of Science).
Career
Ejnar worked as a Civil Engineer in Copenhagen. In 1912 he served as an Assistant Engineer at Copenhagen Tramways. From 1912 till 1913 Park was on Military Service (Garrison Artillery). From 1913 till 1915 he worked as an Assistant Engineer on Canton-Hankow Railway. Starting from 1915 till 1916 Ejnar was an Assitant Engineer at Muller Engineering Company, Inc. From 1915 till 1916 Park was on Volunteer Corps Service (Hankow, British Volunteers).
