Her first diploma became the Secretary diploma. But the author didn't give up her studies and soon got her second diploma - the Economist diploma that was issued by the Modern Academy (in that times it was called the Modern Humanitarian Institute). Between her exams she tried her hand in different jobs.
She was a secretary, a casino dealer, a girl in a taxi call centre, a seller and many others. This "crazy kaleidoscope of professions", according to Elena, gave her the opportunity to learn people. Sometimes not from the good side. The author concluded with humour: "Ever since I have become a complete cynic and received the Order of the first degree of Buddhist and Nihilists Fellowship. Usually I try to hide it... and pretend that I'm white and fluffy". After graduation Elena started to work as an accountant. Although soon Elena strived to get her second degree as a designer. The writer laughs: "There's no logic in my chaotic life at all".
She doesn't tell much about her personal and family life on the net. She says: "I've never understood the desire of some individuals to expose on deeply personal things. That is what is only mine".
The first book "Leyna" by Elena Petrova was published in 2007 and quickly gained popularity among fans of humorous fiction. In subsequent years it has been repeatedly reprinted as well as the continuation of the story "Become Demiurge" that was released in 2008.
