Smith"s platform is "Bullying: Don"t Let lieutenant Get to You" and she said she hoped to engage in anti-bullying activism during her reign as Mission Nevada. Smith is an incoming freshman at Brigham Young University.
Achievements

She won the title of Mission Nevada on June 1, 2014, when she received her crown from outgoing titleholder Diana Sweeney. Smith"s younger sister, Amy Smith was crowned Mission Nevada"s Outstanding Teen the same night Ellie Smith later won the Mission Nevada title, marking the first time in Mission Nevada history that a pair of sisters had won both the Mission and Teen titles in the same year.
