Emanuel was born in 1554, in Antwerp, Antwerpen, Belgium.
He went to lute school in Antwerp with his brother Gysbrecht.
In 1592 he published a collection of canzonets, dance-tunes, fantasias, madrigals, motets and preludes (by C. di Rore, O. di Lasso. J. van Berchem, H. Waelrant, etc.).
Vincent Adriaenssen was a Flemish Baroque painter who spent an important part of his career in Paris and Rome where he was especially renowned for his landscapes with battles and hunting scenes.
Alexander Adriaenssen was a Flemish Baroque painter, particularly known for his still-lifes of fish and game pieces. He also painted banquet pieces with food and flower still lifes.
