Career
He got his start at Greene Saint Recording in New York City, the legendary home of early hip-hop artists Run-DMC, and Public Enemy. lieutenant was here Eric assisted engineer/producer Rod Hui. That led to a job working with famed Atlantic Records producer Arif Mardin in 1998.
Eric has worked with artists such as Weezer, Flight Facilities, Flume, Chet Faker, Meg Mac, Saint Vincent, The Chemical Brothers, Freeform Five, Kimbra, Panama, Kylie Minogue, Yuka Honda, Joss Stone, The Rubens, Art versus
Science,, Marc Kinchen, Bluejuice, Faker, Carolina Liar, The Academy Is…, and actress Emmy Rossum. He was lead singer of New York City band Essex, which he formed with Jeff Buckley drummer, Matt Johnson.
He sang and played guitar and keyboards in The Relationship with Weezer guitarist Brian Bell and produced and recorded their debut album, The Relationship. Eric worked as an engineer for the Los Angeles-based rock band Weezer on The Red Album produced by Rick Rubin.
He composed the theme song to Human immunoglobulin heavy-chain-variable region -1"s Metal Mania and the theme for World Extreme Cagefighting on Versus and later the UFC.
