Eric Kunze, American Physical oceanographer, educator. Achievements include research in interaction of meso- to microscale oceanic phenomena; demonstration that internal waves are sensitive to rotation in the ocean as well as that of earth, and can be trapped bynegative velocity, that vorticies co-exist on internal-wave scales.
