William Sloane Coffin Jr. (June 1, 1924 - April 12, 2006) was an American Christian clergyman and long-time peace activist. Coffin was married three times.

Background
Eva Rubinstein was born on August 18, 1933, in Buenos Aires, Argentina where her mother, the ballerina Nela Młynarska, was accompanying her father, the pianist Arthur Rubinstein, on a concert tour of South America.
She was raised in Paris where she began to train as a ballet dancer at the age of five before her family emigrated to the United States with the outbreak of World War II.
Education
Eva Rubinstein attended Scripps College in Claremont, California, and studied drama at the University of California, Los Angeles.
From 1953, Eva Rubinstein worked as a dancer and actress in New York, appearing in the original production of "The Diary of Anne Frank." She appeared in several on- and off-Broadway theater productions and in the European theater before turning to photography in 1968. Eva Rubinstein has since specialized in editorial, portrait, and documentary work and, since 1977, has been teaching at the New School for Social Research in New York City.
In 1956, Eva Rubinstein married William Sloane Coffin and gave birth to three children, Amy, Alexander and David. The marriage ended in divorce in 1968.
David Coffin is a folk musician specializing in early music and sea music, based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in the United States. He is the song leader for the Revels music programs in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is the director of the Narration Program for Boston Harbor Cruises.
