She was the serf of landowner V.P. Turgeneva. She studied at a theatrical school at a serf theater.
At the age of 13, she was given to the impresario P.A. Sokolov, who kept the theater in Voronezh. After performing in the role of Anyuta in the comic opera “The Miller - the Sorcerer, Deceiver, and Matchmaker” by Alexander Alesimova, the 16-year-old actress started performing the leading opera roles and the first roles of the ingenue in vaudeville. Later with the troupe Sokolova, she played in other cities. In 1833-1942 she worked in Kazan. In 1843-1975 she conducted professional activities in the Urals (Perm, Irbit, Irkutsk). From 1875 in Yekaterinburg, where she predominantly performed the roles of grandes dames and old women.
