Evgeny Konstantinovich graduated from Voronezh Classical School in 1897 and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Moscow in 1904.
Evgeny Konstantinovich was a professor at the Clinic for Neurological Diseases of the Higher Women's Courses from 1913. He was the director of the same clinic and rector of the Higher Medical School from 1919 to 1924, professor at the 2nd Moscow State University from 1924 to 1929. He was the head of the Department of Neurological Diseases of the 1st Moscow Medical Institute (now First Moscow State Medical University) from 1929.
Evgeny Konstantinovich wrote more than 100 works on the problems of theoretical and clinical neurology, injuries of the central and peripheral nervous system and localization of the centers of various brain functions. He was one of the authors of the textbooks "Neurological Diseases" which had 5 editions.
