In 1889, Fedor Nikolaevich graduated from the 5th Moscow gymnasium, in 1893 - the natural department of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Moscow University with a diploma of the 1st degree.
Since 1895 Fedor Nikolaevich became an assistant, associate professor and professor at the Department of Plant Physiology and Anatomy, Moscow University. Until 1920, he constantly came to Voronezh and to the Grushevka estate of the Voronezh district.
During his career he was engaged in the study of photosynthesis. Krasheninnikov is the author of more than 100 scientific works, including the books "Lectures on Plant Anatomy", he also edited Complete Works of K.A. Timiryazev.
