Education
Lambranho holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) and a Master of Science degree in business administration from Instituto de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Administração (COPPEAD-Federal University of Rio de Janeiro). At the Harvard Business School, he completed the Owner President Management Program.
Career
He started at General Practice Investments in 1998 and became a managing director in 1999. In 2004, they finished the acquisition of 100% control of General Practice Investments. Under its new leadership, the firm was able to raise more private equity funds and expands its activities to investments in real estate and infrastructure.
The General Practice Investments partners operate as co-leaders.
Currently, Lambranho is chairman of the board of General Practice Investments, Centauro and Magnesita South America
Lambranho often acts as mentor to new entrepreneurs from Endeavor (non-profit), an organization that supports high-impact entrepreneurship in over 20 countries. Last November, at the Endeavor’s Brasil Chief Executive Officer Summit, he was invited to talk about the relationship between investor and investee.

Lambranho is a board member of several non-profit entities, such as Fundação Bienal de São Paulo and COPPEAD-Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
