Frank was born on January 22, 1954 in Frankfurt, Germany. Son of Ken and Moira (Kliner) Canis.

Education

Frank studied at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He became a Bachelor in Engineering. In a year he was a student of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California, United States. He received a degree of the Master of Science. Frank studied at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. He became a Master of Business Administration.

Career

Frank worked as a manager in Citibank in North America from 1970 to 1974. In this, he became a manager in Cripps Warburg in London, United Kingdom. In a year he was a deputy treasurer in the Air Products, Ltd. He held this position until 1978. Since 1978 Frank was a treasurer in Air Products, Ltd. He worked there for four years. From 1982 to 1985 he worked as a controller in Brussels, Belgium. Since 1985 Frank was a Vice-president of finance in GKN in New York City, United States, also he was a member of the board of directors, in 1986. In a year he became a chairman of the Board of directors in GKN North America Finance Inc., in Detroit, United States.
