Student Denver University, 1923-1924, Art Institute Chicago, 1924-1925. Studied museums of New York City, 1925-1929. Europe, 1929-1931.

Career

Began as painter and art instructor, 1931. Lectured Kirkland School of Art, Denver, 1931. Operated own art school, 1931-1938.

Director art, San Luis School, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 1934-1935. Painting instructor, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, 1937-1938. Director art Classes Colombia U., 1939-1944, associate professor architecture and director of drawing, painting and sculpture.

War artist-correspondent for Life Magazine, 1943.
