Maryland. and Virginia, 1883-1884. Assistant to chief of engrs. United States Army, August 12, 1900-1910.

Charge defensive works southern and eastern entrances to New York Harbor, and of river and harbor works, 2d New York District, April 30, 1915-October 15, 1917. Principal assistant to chief of engrs. United States Army and commanding officer, post of Washington Barracks, 1917.
