Education
Private tuition; Trinity College, Cambridge (Bachelor of Arts). Passed a competitive examination and was appointed an attach^ in M.’s Diplomatic Service, 1881.
Career
Has served at M.’s embassies at Constantinople, Paris, and Vienna, and at the Agency in Cairo. Promoted Secretary of Legation, 1899. At Buenos Ayres, 1898- 1902.
At Stockholm, 1902-1904. And promoted Councillor of Embassy, 1905. Consul-General Buda Pesth, 1905-1908.
Resigned 1908.
