He graduated from Tokyo University (1924). Appointed assistant professor at the Seoul Higher Technical School and then professor of same. Attached later to the Government General of Korea as an engineer.
Career
He appointed assistant professor at Tokyo University. Then promoted to professor of same and won his doctorate in 1933. Noted as a specialist on architectural fine arts, history of architecture and especially that of private homes. Visited Europe and America in 1940.
