Postdoctoral fellow, Failover Manager Institute, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 1987-1989; from associate professor professor, Tsinghua U., Beijing, China, since 1989; principal scientist of biomaterials, Tsinghua School of Material Science and Engineering, since 1997. Research fellow Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, 1997. Director research Materials Physics Laboratory Tsinghua U., 1990-1993.
