First Secretary of Chirchik City Committee of Uzbek Communist Party 1975-1979. Secretary of Central Committee of Uzbek Communist Party 1984.
Deputy to Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Supreme Soviet, Chair, of Council of Ministers of Uzbek South.S.R. since 1984. Elected to Congress of People"s Deputies of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics 1989.
