Graduated from the Leningrad Choreographic School, 1931. Pupil of A. Vaganova. Graduated from the Pedagogical Department, 1938, then in stage production with the Moscow Russian University of Theatre Arts, 1954.
Career
Dancer with the Leningrad Malyi Theatre, 1931-1934, the Paliashvili Theatre, Tbilisi, 1934-1935, the Opera Studio of the Leningrad Conservatory, 1935-1937, and the KirovTheatre, 1937-1953. From 1954, ballet critic.
