Graduated from the Perm’ Choreographic School in 1967, became a solo dancer at the Perm’ Opera and Dance Theatre.
Career
Moved to Leningrad, where she became a star with the Kirov Ballet. Married Valerii Panov. Applied for an exit visa to Israel.
Both lost their jobs. Due to international pressure, allowed to emigrate eventually. From 1974, in Israel.
Since then, has danced with Panov all over the world. Big success on Broadway in 1983. Starred in the London production On Your Toes.
