Dmitry Valentinovich graduated from the public department of the Voronezh Choreographic School (1986, teacher V.I. Slykhanova), choreography department of the Lunacharsky State Institute for Theatre Arts (now the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts) (1995, course of L.V. Golovanov).
