Gawdat al-Malt is an Egyptian politician who was reported by Thomson Reuters to have been appointed as Minister of Finance on 31 January 2011.
Career
He denied the claim. Samir Radwan became Minister of Finance on that day. Al-Malt heads an audit office and gained some popularity for addressing corruption.
