Gennady Vasilievich Zuev

Background

Zuev Gennady was born on 9th of April, 1947 in At-Bashi village, At-Bashinsky District, Tyanian Region, Kyrgyz SSR (now At-Bashy, Kyrgyzstan).

Education

Gennady Vasilievich Zuev graduated from the department of Design of the Frunze Art School (1968, teachers E.S. Gerdyuk, D.N. Flekman), Central Experimental Studio at the Union of Artists of the USSR (Moscow 1975, heads M.A. Konik, E.A. Rozenblyum, N.I.Titova). Art Department of the Art Fund of the Kirghiz SSR (1969-1990).

Career

Gennady Vasilievich Zuev was a participant of city, regional, republican, all-Union, international exhibitions since 1970. He designed the exhibition pavilions of the Exhibition of Achievements of the Kyrgyz SSR national economy (1970-1980), the Kyrgyz Historical Museum (1975), and the interiors of the Toktogul Hydroelectric Power Plant building (1987-1990).

Works in the genres of thematic paintings of historical and mythological content, portrait, landscape, still life. Author of a number of paintings.
