VOLOVIK George Georgievich is a teacher of drawing, singing, head of a string orchestra in his native village. Unjustifiably repressed in late 1930, after serving time left to work in the system of the Baikal-Amur penitentiary camp, visited the Urals, Siberia, the Far East, Pechora. Since 1949 he was engaged in literary work in Voronezh. The works of Volovik were published in the almanac "Literary Voronezh" since 1941, the magazine "Ascent", "Crocodile", in the Literary Gazette. Together with P.G. Malyarevsky wrote the libretto of Pavel Aedonitsky's children's operetta "Repka", staged by Voronezh and many other theaters of musical comedy.
