Member Institute of Civil Engineers, 1892. Has been employed on the construction of railways in Natal, Mexico, India, and Peru. Received thanks of Government of India for work on Holan Railway, North. West. India, 1886.
Constructed the Uganda Railway, and was Manager and Chief-Engineer, 1895-1903.
Chief-Engineer Central Argentine Railway, 1904-1909.
