George A. Admitted to the Texas bar, 1889. Assistant district attorney and acting district attorney, Dallas, 1897, 98. Purchased a number of ships and surrendered them to the United States Government when needed by it, during World War, at sacrifice of several million dollars.

Formerly member and chairman Democratic State Executive Committee of Texas.
