With American Museum Natural History, New York, since 1901, was assistant curator department invertebrate zoölogy, until 1906, curator-in-chief, department education, since 1906, assistant secretary and assistant treasurer, 1906-1911, assistant secretary, 1911-1921, executive secretary, 1921-1934, acting director 1924-1926, director, 1927-1934, honorary director, since 1935. President and life member New York Academy of Sciences (treasurer).
