Enesco, Georges was born on August 19, 1881 in Livehni, Rumania. Son of Constantin and Marie Enesco.

Education

Student of Vienna Conservatory, 1888-1894 (Gesellschafts medal). Paris Conservatory, 1894 (1st prize for violin, 1899).

Composer: Poeme Roumain for orchestra. 3 orchestra suites; 3-d, Villageoise. In rumanian folk-like character, composed for New York Philharmonic Symphony Society 3 symphonies.
