Georgii Nikitich Kholostiakov


Georgii Kholostiakov, USSR Vice-admiral.


Kholostiakov, Georgii was born in 1902.


Graduated from the Academy of the General Staff, 1950.


Joined the Bolshevik Party, 1920, and the Red Navy, 1921. Took part in the Civil War. Submarine officer in the 1930s and during World War II. Commander of the Novorossiisk naval base and the Danube fleet, 1944, and of the Caspian fleet, 1950.

Deputy Head of Military Training in the navy, 1953-1969. Later worked in the Ministry of Defence.


Religion divides people, and is a cause of numerous wars and conflicts throughout the human history.


The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
