Georgij Efimovich was born on May 21, 1941 in Petrozavodsk.
Georgij Mironov finished Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU) (1958-1963). Studying at historical and philological department, he received a degree in two spheres: history and journalism. Georgij also completed the postgraduate course from the chair of modern and recent history at PetrSU and the chair of recent history at Pushkin Leningrad State University (1965-1968).
After his retirement in 1965, Georgij entered the postgraduate course of the chair of modern and recent history at Petrozavodsk State University, combining studying and teaching at the historical, philological and journalistic departments of the historical and philological faculty at the university. He gave a course of history of southern and western Slavs as well as special courses on the history of the Second World War, history and art of the Renaissance, history of the French Enlightenment. Work and study combined with creative activity as a freelance observer of literary and dramatic broadcasting of the Petrozavodsk television studio.
Georgij Mironov began labour and creative activity in 1958 as an artist and entertainer of the variety orchestra of the republican philharmonic. During 1959-1960, he was working as a national radio speaker. From 1960 to 1962, he was an editor of literary and dramatic broadcasting of Karelian television. He was called up into Soviet Army in 1963. Served as a sergeant and officer. He graduated Radio School in the army.
After graduating from the postgraduate course and defending the thesis of the candidate of historical sciences, Georgij Mironov moved to work on television. During 1968-1970 Georgij was a managing editor, then an editor-in-chief of the main office of the film production of Petrozavodsk TV studio.
During 1971-1973 Georgij was a scriptwriter of the chief editorial board of folk art on the Central television, at the same time, from 1971 to 1972 he was an editor of foreign department of "Literaturnaya Gazeta" (editor-consultant on foreign Slavic countries). From 1972 to 1992, he was working as an observer on foreign Slavic countries of Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Georgij participated in a number of international conferences and symposia on the history, economy, and culture of foreign Slavic countries.
During 1973-1982 Georgij Mironov was working as an editor-in-chief of "Informculture" in the USSR Culture Ministry, an editor-in-chief of the information system "DIOR" (synthetic collateral of insights to executives). From 1982 to 1991, he was a leading research worker of the Russian State Library, an author, a compiler and a head of research teams on the preparation of scientific monographs and collections dedicated to the history, culture, and philosophy of Russia until 1917.
During 1991-1992 Georgij was an departmental manager of International scientific magazine-club "Magisterium".
Since 1992 Georgij Mironov has been a chief specialist of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, where the main areas of his work are analytical informatics, public relations, publishing and exhibition activities.

Georgij Efimovich is an adviser to the ataman of the public organization "Cossack hosts of Russia" in charge of legal matters, "Attorney General" of the Russian chapter of the International Order of Constantine the Great as well as a member of the Union of Journalists of Moscow and Russia, member of the Union of Writers of Russia, member of International Union of Writers of the Battlesists and Marine Painters, member of Union of Russian Artists, member of the Association of Art Critics, member International Association of Art Critics, member of Moscow Association of the Detective Novel, member of Press Club at the Central House of Entertainers, member of International Committee for the Protection of Human Rights named after Koni A.F., member of steering committee of International Film Festival "Law and Order and Society", member of Club of Writers at the Central House of Writers, member of Literary Fund of Russia, member of International Lions-Club "Moscow-Global".
Georgij Efimovich is a president of International Lions-Club "Moscow-West", president of the International Club of Knights of the Order "Zvezda Vernadskogo", president of the club of grandees of philosophy (IIA).
In his spare time Georgij likes walking in the woods. He regularly visits museums of fine arts.
