Georgiy NATADZE, USSR Hygienist. Professor 1938; Doctor of Medicine Science; corresponding member, USSR Academy of Medical Science; Head, Chair of General Hygiene, Tbilisi Medicine Institute, since 1938; Head., Nutrition Research Laboratory, Georgia Ministry of Health, since 1958; Honoured Worker of Science of Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic.

1921 graduated Medical Faculty, Kiev University.
Career
Chairman, Georgia Society of Hygienists. Со-Editor, “Hygiene” section, “Bolshaya meditsinskaya entsiklopediya” (Large Medical Encyclopedia), 2nd edition. Member, Editor Council, journals “Gigiena i sanitariya” (Hygiene and Sanitation) and “Voprosy pitaniya” (Problems of Nutrition).
1958 founded: Central Sanitation and Hygiene Laboratory for Transcaucasian Railroad. Institute of Nutrition in Tbilisi, where he was Deputy Director. Nutrition Research Institute, Georgia Ministry of Health.
Works deal with general hygiene. Nutrition hygiene; vitaminology. Regional pathology; energy consumption of agricultural and industrial workers.
1922-1938 public health doctor, Transcaucasian Railroad, associate various hygiene establishments, then assist, and lecturer, Chair of General Hygiene, Tbilisi Medicine Institute.
