Huser lost her 2011 re-election to Republican challenger Kim Pearson by only 126 votes. She serves as a Planning Specialist with Polk County Social Services and is director of Iowa Finance Authority"s Title Guaranty Division.
Huser was named to Governor Terry Branstad"s Transportation 2020 Citizen Advisory Commission.
